The Company recognises quality as a key corporate responsibility and the Directors and Senior Managers are committed to ensuring that at all levels within the organisation, its operations and activities are managed to provide its customers with the best possible service.

 

To achieve this, the Company operates a fully documented Integrated Management System in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2008 with approval by SGS Quality Assurance. The manual provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives.

 

The company will communicate, train and motivate all personnel whose work will assure the delivery of products and services. Procedures are in place to meet its obligations to its customers.

 

This policy commitment will be subject to periodic review for continuing suitability.

 

 

Enviromental

 

The LME Group is committed to the protection of the Environment and will conduct its manufacturing and operations in an environmentally responsible manner.

 

The Company recognises environmental management as a key corporate responsibility and the Directors and Senior Managers are committed to ensuring that at all levels within the organisation and its activities are managed to reduce their environmental impact as far as is reasonably practicable. The Company is committed to continual improvement of its environmental performance, which includes the reduction, and prevention of pollution.

 

LME will work closely with the appropriate regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all applicable existing legal and other requirements that apply to the environmental aspects of the Company and to assist in the development and implementation of future improvements. To achieve this, the Company operates a fully documented Integrated Management System in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001: 2004 with approval by SGS Quality Assurance and provides the framework for the regular setting, reviewing and monitoring of its environmental objectives and targets.

  

The Company will communicate, train and motivate all personnel whose work may create a significant impact on the environment to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner. Procedures are in place to identify the potential for accident and emergency situations and to prevent or minimise any associated environmental damage.
